How to book a tutorial with A Star Aspirations
In order to book a tutorial you simply go to the ‘Book a tutorial/Contact me’ page and fill in the form on that page.
In this form you will be asked to state which level you wish to be taught at. Choose either Key Stage 3 level in Science, Physics at GCSE level or A’ level Physics. If you have chosen GCSE or A’ level it will be useful to state the exam board you are studying with from the drop down menu on the form. Choose from the following list:
- AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance)
- OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations)
- WJEC/CBAC (Welsh Joint Education Committee)
If you don’t know it may be on your text book, failing that, your teacher will know. If you are unable to find out choose the ‘don’t know’ option. Knowing the exam board though will make the tutorials more specific for your needs and make the lessons more effective. If your exam board is not listed then choose the ‘Other’ option and write down what board you are with in the next box. If you are not studying for an exam and just want to know about Physics, choose the ‘Other’ option and write down ‘no exam’ in the next box.
The next question is to ask you about what topic you wish me to start teaching you on. Simply type in the topic you are at or the topic you are particularly worried about. If you prefer to leave this blank and discuss it when I telephone you, then that’s ok too.
Finally on this page, there will be a space for you to write anything else you feel is important. You may leave this blank if you wish.
When the form is completed press the send button.
I will contact you by telephone to arrange the best time for your tutorial. If I am unable to get through I will email you. If you want to proceed with the tutorial, payment details will also be completed at this time. However, your card will not be debited until after the lesson. I accept credit or debit cards. The cards I accept are Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro but not American Express. I can also accept cheques but the tutorial cannot take place until the cheque has been cleared.
I hope to hear from you and good luck with your exams.
